Its a very nice place to camp at. Bunch of deer and wildlife around when the place isnt too busy. There was a nice constant breeze when I stayed and it made the evenings feel wonderful. Also A+ on the view
Spent 3 nights in early July. The RV/camper sites were decent in size but could use better maintenance. The grass around the sites were so high we couldn't utilize it all or use the fire pit in fear of setting the whole site on fire. Bathrooms were ok but they should remove the plastic covering over the "windows" for ventilation. I was told they're put in place for winter to keep warm but this is July! Fire ants and wasps are bad out there so be prepare with bug bite ointments. I still have scars from ant bites but that's nature for ya. There are a lot of deers around so that was nice to see. May go there again but will be sure to bring a weed-eater and bug spray if we do.
Park host was very friendly. Grass was knee deep. Park rangers were extremely RUDE!!! Explains why rhe private parks are always full. Will not be going
No trees. Very wide spaces. No beach access.
Rented the pavilion for my wedding reception and it was perfect!
